Happy New Year - 2021!

We look forward to the new year with great anticipation and hope that once again we can gather in person and continue to build a stronger and impactful Romanian American community.

Despite all the obstacles, here are some of our achievements:

1. Organized monthly calls that connected over 35 Romanian American Communities leaders in North America.

2. Partnered with and supported VeDem Just to bring Face Shields to medical staff in Romania

3. Supported The Roma People's Project at Columbia University.

4. Campaigned and encouraged Romanian Americans to participate in the US Census 2020 and collaborated with Dana Bucin - Romanian Honorary Consul - CT and Romanian United Fund on Immigration Restrictions and Opportunities event.

5. Hosted and promoted cultural events like:

• ‘Pitesti Experiment’ screening at The Players Club

• ‘Capra cu Trei Iezi’ screening at Main Street Theater and Dance Alliance

• Making Waves Romanian Film Festival

• Chicago Romanian Film Festival
